We congratulate CSS composer Dr. Wang Chenwei for his recent work Double Zhongruan Concerto "The Sisters' Islands" for the Singapore Ruan Ensemble. In conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the Singapore Chinese Music Federation (SCMF). On 31st Aug 2023, the Singapore Ruan Ensemble and the Ruanxian Association of Singapore presented a concert titled “Ruan Reimagined” at the Esplanade Recital Studio with support from the SCMF.
Other local composers featured in this programme include Phang Kok Jun, Derek Koh and Sulwyn Lok.
