A mysterious black box arrives at the doorstep of 12 artists from interdisciplinary backgrounds during this unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic. When opened, the artists realized the box have the power to bend Space & Time.
4 groups of 3 Singaporean artists come together reaching through Space and Time to collaborate on 4 short web episodes titled Frame Dragging.
“Frame-Dragging is inspired by Einstein’s Theory of relativity and is a pun also for dragging of frames on social media like YouTube/Facebook.“
“[…] matter and energy distort space-time, curving it around themselves.’Frame dragging’ theoretically occurs when the rotation of a large body ‘twists’ nearby space and time.” – Albert Einstein
Frame Dragging is an interdisciplinary, intercultural project presented as a 4-part web series. It is an improvisational and experimental series featuring some of the best artists of this generation in Singapore. It serves to highlight the need for human interaction and non-verbal communication especially during times like these where people find difficulty in isolation.
