Post-Concert Musings | Three Nations Concert

Contributed by HOH Chung Shih and NG Yu Hng

The recent Three Nations Concert (22 Jul 2022) was a collaborative venture between the Malaysian Composers Collective, Asian Composers League (South Korea) and Composers Society of Singapore. In this concert, the chamber works from these three cultures were performed in a rich, multicultural exchange of musical creativity.

The Singaporean composers who represented the CSS were:

  • HOH Chung Shih Distancing Etude, for piano and mixed ensemble
  • Elliot TEO Petals in the Sun, for brass quintet
  • Emily KOH smidgen(S), for cello and piano
