Joey Yeo studies at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), Singapore, under Dr Zechariah Goh (composition) and Hunter Mah (classical guitar) respectively. Joey enjoys synergising ideas learnt from different concepts from Science, Mathematics and Humanities and translating ideas from other art forms into music. Joey has won the ASEAN Youth Ensemble East West fusion composition competition (2018 & 2019) and International Call for Score for orchestral composition (themed myth and fairy tales), organised by the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music, Bangkok, Thailand.
